Community Guidelines
The rules that keep fights fair and worth watching.
What Snoowie Is
Snoowie is an entertainment network built around public disagreement. People argue in the open. Everyone else gets a front-row seat.
This isn't a place for gentle discussion or finding common ground. It's for people who like watching internet fights and for the ones who don't back down when things get loud.
Want calm, civil debate? You're probably in the wrong app.
If you live for a Twitter pile-on, a group chat that went nuclear, or watching someone get ratio'd in real time, you're home.
The rules still apply:
- • No doxxing
- • No harassment that follows someone off-platform
- • No targeting someone's personal identity (religion, caste, gender) rather than their argument
- • No coordinated brigading or vote manipulation
Everything else is fair game. Argue hard. Watch harder. Try not to take it personally.
Community Guidelines
- Be a real person. No impersonation, no fake accounts designed to manipulate votes or arguments.
- Debate ideas, not identities. Attacks on someone's religion, caste, gender, or personal identity are not allowed, even inside the War Room.
- No harassment that follows someone outside a single conversation. Disagreement in the War Room stays in the War Room.
- Moderators can remove content and suspend War Room access for users who violate these rules.
How the War Room Works
- A War Room only opens when a conversation has real, organic disagreement. You can't force one open on a post that hasn't actually sparked a fight.
- Sides are limited to 25 active fighters each. Everyone else can watch and vote as a spectator.
- To become a fighter, you must have already commented in the normal discussion on that post before the War Room opened. This keeps out people who show up purely to farm rewards.
- Once you join a side, you cannot switch sides on that post. Pick a side you actually believe in.
- If a fighter goes quiet for too long during an active round, their seat may open up for a waiting spectator.
- Winners are decided by crowd upvotes, not staff and not an algorithm. Whichever side gets more total upvotes on their arguments wins the round.
- After winning a round, there's a short cooldown before a new round can start on that post.
- If you've recently fought in a War Room, there's a short cooldown before you can join another as a fighter somewhere else. Stops people from farming wins across a dozen posts at once.
Reputation
- Your reputation title is based on the size and quality of the War Rooms you've won, not just how many. Winning in front of a large audience counts far more than winning small, quiet arguments.
- The single highest-upvoted argument in a round becomes that round's Hall of Fame shot and is preserved permanently on the post.
- Reputation cannot be bought or boosted artificially. It only comes from real people upvoting real arguments.
Hot Takes
- A Hot Take is a short, bold statement meant to get an immediate reaction. Say what you actually think.
- Hot Takes that generate strong disagreement can turn into a War Room, just like any other post.
Moderation
- Every Space has moderators who set additional rules for their community.
- Reported content is reviewed and may be removed if it breaks these guidelines.
- Repeated violations can result in loss of War Room access or account suspension.
Titles and Reputation
- Your title reflects how loudly you've fought, weighted by audience size, not just win count. Titles climb from Lurker → Fresh Blood → Troublemaker → Agitator → Antagonist → Provocateur → Instigator → UNTOUCHABLE.
- Special titles can sit alongside your main one: Sharp Tongue (Hall of Fame shot), Iron Nerve (never surrendered across 5+ clashes), Moment Maker, and Crowd Favourite (won a clash with 10,000+ watchers).
- Weakling is earned by repeated surrenders or going quiet. It temporarily replaces your main title. Win two clashes and you can shake it off.
Spaces
- Anyone can create a Space around any topic.
- Space creators and moderators can set their own posting rules within these platform-wide guidelines.
A note from the Snoowie team
Snoowie is brand new, and you're one of the first people here. Some things are going to be rough around the edges while we build this out.
Features will break. Stuff won't work the way you expect. Whole chunks of the app are still being built.
Sorry in advance for the frustration. We're fixing things as we go and we actually care about getting this right.
Something broken? Annoying? Got an idea? Tell us. We read everything.
Use the feedback option in your profile menu, or email us at hello@snoowie.com.
Thanks for being early. It really does matter.
